1628
1628 is a 1996 Mack tanker-pumper built by New Lexington, designed to deliver both high-volume water supply and firefighting capability. It carries 3,000 gallons of water and is equipped with a 1,000 GPM pump, allowing it to operate as a standalone suppression unit or in support of other apparatus. With its large tank and pumping flexibility, 1628 plays a key role in rural water shuttle operations and can provide sustained fireground support when hydrants aren't available. Its versatility makes it an essential part of the department's response to structure fires and large-scale incidents.
